GARMENT CARE GUIDE

Your SIAA House piece is an investment in artisanal craftsmanship. To preserve the beauty of the fabrics and the integrity of the hand-stitched embroidery, please follow these care instructions:

1. Cleaning

  • Professional Dry Clean Only: Due to the delicate nature of soft organza, tulle, and jersey, these garments should never be machine-washed or hand-washed.

  • Specialist Care: Inform your dry cleaner that the garment features stitched embroidery and integrated chest pads to ensure they use the appropriate gentle solvents.

2. Steaming & Pressing

  • Steam Only: Never apply a hot iron directly to organza or tulle. Use a professional garment steamer on a low-to-medium setting.

  • Inside Out: If pressing is absolutely necessary, use a cool iron on the reverse side with a clean pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.

3. Storage

  • Hanging: Store your dress on a padded hanger to maintain the structure of the shoulders and balloon sleeves.

  • Avoid Sunlight: Keep your garment in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the delicate "Blush," "Orchid," or "Sage" pigments from fading.

  • Breathable Bags: Use a cotton garment bag for long-term storage. Avoid plastic covers, which can trap moisture and damage natural fibers.

4. Handling Embroidery

  • Our embroideries are stitched, not glued, for maximum durability. However, please be mindful of jewelry or sharp accessories that may snag the delicate threadwork or organza overlays.
